Yeah you has being right, look at the early youngest and look at the summer youngest, also the seed of the cocks is better Quality as the youngest, they're in a better shape as the early youngest.

The quality of the summer youngest will be better then the early youngest, also the form of the cocks be better when we has higher tempeture, then the beginning of the racing season in march.

Some Belgium and Netherlands fanciers paired their pigeons in february and after ten days breeding will be separeted the pairs and, they will be racing on totally widowhood. after the racing season they paired again the coupples and every coupple breed one nest.
So the youngest must be learn at the winter period, when the new season starts they are in theory yearlings, but the pigeons are in fact youngest for theire first time into the basked, so when they play two year old pigeons on the long distance they're in fact yearlings (18 months).
But the quality of the young pigeons will be good, they has breeding late summer, the seed of the cocks will be good, and the breeding pigeons at that time are the pigeons they survival the racing season, they fly there prizes so most of the time the best of the best breeding.

With kind regards,
Jacob Manni (Belgium)

When I first started racing back in 76, it was an older mans sport then. It was only that my grandad used to race that I got into it. I think as a sport we can do loads more to get young kids involved. It is a hard thing though, we are competing against playstation and xbox now- when I was a kid it was playing down the park with your mates.

The world has changed, and I think to attract the younguns, the sport may need to change a bit too!!
